Ideas Are Worth Nothing
Sorry to rain on your parade, but your so call Billion dollar idea is worth absolutely nothing. Not until you’ve put in some work and real execution to support it. Until then, nobody cares. You’re just wasting your time.
Ideas are free so everyone’s got some. They’re so cheap that if you’re not careful, you might become a collector. You’ll find yourself collecting ideas instead of developing them into reality. I know this all too well. A lot of new entrepreneurs become collectors. They collect ideas that maybe they’ll use someday in the future. Now, I don’t know about you but the last time I checked, the week was made of seven days, and someday was not one of them.
Having ideas is great but don’t fall into the trap. They are meant to be developed, executed and then shared. It is not meant to be put away for an imaginary day that may or may never come. All entrepreneurs get excited for that light bulb moment, its understanding. But only inexperienced entrepreneurs will feel accomplished just for having one. Real entrepreneurs know that the light bulb was the easy part.
The real grind begins at executing.
